STUD DOG SERVICE INFORMATION

We offer Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherd Stud Service for $600.00 to any of our males and guarantees you a pregnant female or a re-breeding within a year of original breeding to the same female or a substitute female if she can’t be bred for any reason. If you board your female with us during the breeding the Board is $15.00/Day. We only accept socialized dogs that have either boarded somewhere before, traveled and has done well at the vet in general and does well with people they don’t know! We can’t take in dogs that are aggressive, extremely fearful of new places or people that we can’t touch or handle while they are at the ranch!!!! We have the right to refuse boarding any female for any reason that we feel like would not allow us to successfully get her bred and care for her while she is at our ranch! Please contact us when your female comes into heat on the first day and book to bring her to us around day 5-7. If you plan on breeding your female to one of our studs and will be bringing her here to the J Bar T Ranch make sure you have current your female’s shots (within a year including the core 5 way vaccine,  bordatella (kennel cough), worming and on flea/tick preventative up to date for her to be able to board with us. We will need a copy of her registration papers, shot record and the stud fee when you bring her to us. You can contact me at 972-816-1067. We also offer in house progesterone testing and artificial insemination services for females that are unable to be bred naturally due to size. There is an additional charge to cover the testing and artificial inseminations if those services are needed. The progesterone testing is $40.00 per test and the artificial insemination is $75.00 per insemination. We also offer cooled shipped semen for SOME of our stud dogs. The shipping charge for the cooled ship semen usually runs around $200.00 weekday and $250.00 weekend shipment. This covers the shipping cost, trip to send the shipment, the shipping container/supplies and collection. We no longer offer our stud service for the pick of the litter! Please read over our STUD CONTRACT and let us know if you have any questions. You will need to fill out the stud contract and give us a copy of your female’s registration papers and bring us a copy of her current vaccination/worming records when you book the stud service.
