| This is a gorgeous APHA Black & White 12 yr. Old gelding. His registered name is Supercede but we call him “Ickabod”. He is a 1D/2D barrel horse. He has been heeled & pasture roped on. He is also a good trail riding horse up in the mountains. He is extremely broke & easy to haul & handle on the ground. He is not for a beginner on the barrels due to his speed and quickness. He needs a calm and confident rider. He has been very well taken care of and is up to date on shots, worming, dental, coggins, etc. I have owned him since he was 2 and I am looking for the right home for him. The only reason I have decided to sell him is I have made some other commitments that are requiring a lot more of my time and I have several young horses that I need to focus on. | We have a beautiful AQHA 12 yr. old sorrel mare named TIMES SHINING STAR that stands 15.3 that is a proven barrel mare!! She has lots of old, solid running blood in her pedigree which is where she gets her big heart and try attitude from. Her pedigree information is following: Her sire is Ole Man West by The Ole Man (SI:100,$21,156) and out of Faye West. The Ole Man is by the legendary Three Bars (by Percentage and out of Myrtle Dee) and out of Chicado V (SI:100, $5215 who was by Chicaro Bill and ot of Do Good). Faye West is by Sandy West (by Joe Moore and out of Marina) and out of Vena Wim is by Wimpy Jr.and out of Venezuela). Her dam is Fast Time Vena (5 perf.pts) by Fast Time Leo (SI:95, $1458) and out of Vena Wim (2 Halter pts.). Fast Time Leo is by the legendary Leo (by the legendary Joe Reed II and out of Little Fanny) and out of Shady Lena (SI:95, $2219 by the legendary Sugar Bars SI:95 $3166 and out of Lena Leo. SHE RAN A 16.0 before we bred her in June of 2009 WITH A NEW RIDER ON THEIR 3RD RUN AT COWBOY TACK ARENA IN TERRELL AND A 15.8 WON IT. She can run these 1D times consistently with a rider that can sit up and push her! She runs a 1D/2D @ local barrel races and 2D/3D at the large races. She loves to run the barrels and has tons of heart! She is seasoned and solid but hasn't had her legs ran off between me having a baby and her having two babies now. She is a push style horse because she has such a natural talent and desire to turn the barrels. She will take a good rider that can stay balanced in the saddle with a powerful and hard turning horse. She is very light and responsive and runs in a hackamore. She will work in any size arena regardless if she has ever been there or not she goes in hunting the barrels. You don’t ever have to work her on the barrels. All you have to do is keep her legged up and go! She has lots of personality and really bonds with her owner. She is easy to handle on the ground and loads and hauls well. She has been very well taken care of and is up to date on everything. I love this mare to death and I am looking for a great home for her . I just personally can’t run her up to her ability. So I have made the hard decision to go ahead and sell her to someone that can. She had a really nice filly named Firewaters Angel for me by Firewater On Ice in 2008!! She was bred to Jessie's Double Dee and had a beautiful red dun filly in 2010. There are pictures of this filly on my PROSPECT PAGE!! We will be legging STAR up to start barrel racing on her again this Fall!! Would consider selling her to the right home only!!
